CRASH!
Frank crashes into a building. He slides and hits a wall.
He grunts as he crawls to his feet.
“This guy hits hard!” Frank yells.
Frank charges out of the rubble and tackles Demolisher mid-battle, just as Rocket rains down fire from above. Frank places Demolisher in a headlock, tightly constricting his neck.
Demolisher laughs and begins to pry Frank’s arm off of his neck.
“You’re not strong enough!” Demolisher yells.
Demolisher gets Frank’s arm from around his neck and elbows him in his ribs. Rocket throws two fireballs at them, and they explode on impact. Frank clings to his feet and punches Demolisher in the face. Swift races from behind Rocket, kicks Demolisher in the back, and Viora smashes a boulder on top of him.
Demolisher stumbles forward, Frank hits him with an uppercut, and then Swift charges into him at Mach speeds, hurling Demolisher a few feet away. He crashes, and Viora hurls more debris on top of him. Rocket flies into the air, throwing a series of fireballs at Demolisher. They explode, and Demolisher grunts as he is hit.
“We can take him! We have to keep applying pressure. Don’t allow him to fight back!” Rocket yells.
Rocket lands and readies flame in both of his hands. Frank steps past him.
“He’s stronger than me—and I’m way stronger than all of you. Maybe sit this one out,” Frank says.
“We didn’t come here to be backups. We’re going to take this guy down!” Viora replies.
“What she said…” Rocket says.
“So be it,” Frank replies.
Demolisher stands up.
No words—just action.
He charges them.
He swings, and Frank catches the punch. Rocket blasts another fireball into Demolisher’s chest. Viora creates a shield in front of Frank as Demolisher tries to throw the left. Swift punches him five times in the ribs fast, and Frank hits Demolisher with an uppercut. Demolisher kicks Rocket in the chest before stumbling back, sending him flying. Swift races to check on his brother, and Viora applies pressure by heaving another car into Demolisher.
Frank punches Demolisher in the chest, and Demolisher smashes him across the face. Rocket flies around, hurling fireballs at them both.
“Stop it!” Demolisher yells.
Frank delivers a crushing blow and elbows him in the jaw. Demolisher grunts and punches Frank hard in his chest, sending him flying into a parking structure. He then rushes after Viora. Viora places multiple energy barriers in between them, but Demolisher plows through them all until he gets within inches of her.
He swings.
VHWIP!
Swift runs in just in time to shoulder-charge him. He slides back, and Viora hovers in the air, dropping cars on top of him. Demolisher catches the last car and throws it at Rocket.
“Oh shit!” Rocket yells, barely avoiding it.
As he avoids the car, he finds Demolisher in mid-air, and is caught off guard. Demolisher snatches Rocket, and they crash into the ground. Rocket’s flames flicker out as Demolisher slams two punches into his face—then raises both fists for the kill.
VWHIP!
Swift stops another crucial attack, lifting his brother from under Demolisher. The streets and buildings blur into one as Swift races his brother to safety. Valor lays there, still unconscious. Swift places Rocket down.
“Rest up a bit, bro!” Swift says.
BOOM.
Swift leaves a gust of wind in his wake as he races back to the fight.
Demolisher is fighting Viora, but Swift runs in, unleashing a rush of hyper-speed attacks all around him. He attacks Demolisher well over 100 times, confusing him.
CRACK!
Frank returns, whacking Demolisher with a street lamp. Demolisher turns and throws a hook. Frank parries it and uppercuts him. Demolisher returns a brutal overhand, flooring him. Swift kicks him in the back, dodges an incoming punch, then spins twice in mid-air before kicking him in the face. Demolisher stomps on the ground, creating a crevice, which Swift lands in.
“Shit!” Swift yells.
Demolisher grabs Swift before he can escape, and he leaps high into the air. He spikes Swift into the ground, and the force of the crash creates a crater. His back, several ribs, and his left femur snap like dry twigs under pressure.
“AAAAAAGH!” Swift yells in agony.
With a brutal punt, Swift rockets through a nearby building.
Demolisher grins. “Finally, just you and me.”
Frank runs toward him and shoots a double leg takedown, but Demolisher smashes his hands into Frank’s back, hoists him into the air, and powerslams him into the concrete.
Another car flies into Demolisher—Viora is still in!
“You are fucking annoying!” He yells.
Frank is slow to get up. Demolisher kicks Frank in the head, knocking him back down. He focuses on Viora.
“Throw another car at me, and watch what happens!” Demolisher warns.
Viora, almost on command, lifts another car and throws it at him. He smacks it to the ground and races after her. Viora puts up an energy shield, but Demolisher tears right through it. He slaps her, and she crashes into a wall, pinning her. He walks over slowly, but a shield flies in, ricocheting off his head.
Valor returns, bruised and tattered, and catches the shield.
He is ready for another round.
“What kinda man hits a woman?” He asks.
Demolisher smiles.
“Shield boy, ready to die?” Demolisher asks.
Valor grins.
“I never understand super villainy. All these Final Destination ass words. No one is dying. And if anyone is—it won’t be me or my team!”
He charges toward Demolisher. Demolisher rampages toward him.
Valor throws his shield—but past Demolisher.
Demolisher swings, and Valor blocks it. The shield comes back—whacks Demolisher in the head.
He turns his attention to what is behind him, and Valor cracks him. He throws two quick jabs to his body and follows up with a right hook. Demolisher grabs him, hurls him into a wall, and he crashes through it. His eyes glisten as the pain shoots throughout his entire body. He rolls his side, propping the shield beneath him to lift his body.
“This guy…is strong,” Valor grunts.
Demolisher rips through the wall.
“Dead yet, shield boy?” He asks.
Slow to get up, Valor spits out blood.
“Not yet,” He replies.
Valor activates his Hardened Aura, and streaks of golden light crack through his skin.
He charges—BWOOM!
He crashes into Demolisher’s torso—exploding his Hardened Aura outward, launching Demolisher over fifty feet.
Demolisher crashes onto the ground, and Valor looks at his body.
“Hmph, look at that,” He says.
Valor runs out of the building as Demolisher clings back to his feet. Valor jumps, spins twice, and heaves his shield at Demolisher with more force than usual. Demolisher catches it, chuckles, and spins to his right three times before chucking the shield like a discus into the air, which clearly traverses for miles until it disappears from sight.
“That was just childish…” Valor groans.
Valor pulses his Hardened Aura again and runs toward Demolisher. Demolisher blades his stance, preparing for a toe-to-toe bout.
Valor punches Demolisher in the chest, but is met with a vicious slap, flooring him.
Demolisher laughs. “Get up!”
Valor rolls to avoid an incoming stomp and counters with an uppercut.
Two more dodges, a quick 1-1-2, and a spinning kick make Demolisher stumble back.
“I may lack your strength, but you clearly lack actual fighting skills,” Valor says.
He is gaining confidence.
Demolisher throws a left overhand, Valor dips—hook to the body.
Uppercut to the jaw—two body jabs. Valor jumps back to avoid another grapple attempt.
Valor leaps forward, cracking Demolisher in the face with a vicious left knee, sending him to the ground.
He yells, “All this strength, and you can’t even fight!”
Demolisher grunts angrily, pushing himself to his feet. He charges at Valor, throwing wild haymakers. Valor rushes back, avoiding all of them, but Demolisher’s speed increases, practically running.
Valor accidentally stumbles on a chunk of rubble and—MWOP!
He catches one.
Valor flies through the brick wall of a bank and smashes into the vault door, denting it.
His spine cracks on impact.
Demolisher smashes through the wall to find Valor crawling away. Demolisher walks over to the vault door—rips it clean off.
“Come here, shield boy,” Demolisher teases.
He spikes the vault door onto Valor’s back.
“AAAAAAAUGH!” Valor screams in agony until he passes out.
Demolisher hoists the vault door over his head, seeing a now bloody Valor.
“This is the end. You had a good run, shield boy,” He says.
Before he finishes him, Viora runs into the bank and stops the shield with her psionic energy. Frank runs in behind her and tackles Demolisher. Viora gains hold of the vault door, struggling to keep it afloat.
“Damn this shit is heavy!” She exclaims.
FOCUS, GIRL, OR YOU’LL DROP IT ON HIM!
Viora slowly moves the vault door over Valor and drops it down next to him. She lifts him with her energy and slowly gets him out of the bank.
Before she can reach safety, Frank crashes into them—slammed by Demolisher. All three of them crash onto the ground, with Frank smushing them.
Demolisher lifts a car over his head.
“You are all weak. You don’t deserve to have the powers you all have. No one beats the Demolisher!” He yells.
Frank rolls off of them, panting hard.
He wipes blood off his chin as he rises to his feet.
“You ain’t shit!” Frank yells.
Viora slides back, pulling Valor into her lap. As she holds him, waves of Valor’s pain and duress flood into her mind.
He is beaten.
He awakens and looks around to see her violet eyes staring at him.
She cradles his chin softly, “Are you okay?” She asks.
He stammers, “Barely. I can’t feel my legs.”
“Frank! I need to get him to safety!”
Frank nods, “Take him. I got this!”
Just then, a lightning bolt strikes—erupting the car over Demolisher’s head, sending Demolisher crashing.
Frank looks up—Thunder finally returns. His body is now made of pure electricity.
He slowly hovers down to the Warriors, reverting to his original body.
“Sorry, I’m late! I had to master this ability. It’s my Electroform! My name is Thunder, by the way, I’m with them!” Thunder says.
Frank grunts, “Frank.”
“You must be pretty strong. It seems everyone is beat up, except you, for the most part.”
“Yeah, something like that. He’s tougher. I hope you’re up here with us.”
“I wasn’t before.” Thunder flashes back into his Electroform. “But now—I definitely am!”
“We’ll see. Viora, take him and get to the others. Get outta here while you can, sis.” Frank orders.
Viora nods, creates an energy bubble, and flies her and Valor out of the way.
Thunder and Frank stand next to each other as Demolisher finally gets to his feet.
“Well, well, well. Look who it is,” Demolisher says.
“Yeah, remember me?” Thunder replies, his voice staticky.
He chuckles. “Hard to forget. I was telling your friend I knocked you out with one punch. You coming back for more of that, huh?”
“This is so not going to be like last time, I can promise you that!”
The mightiest Warriors face off with Demolisher.
Two rematches. Only one can be the winner.
